Player App Privacy
This notice explains how Team Florida Softball handles information for the Team Florida Softball Player App.
Information the app uses
- Team-managed roster and profile information for the Player, including name, adult parent or guardian-controlled login email, player status, approved display name, and optional jersey number.
- Sign-in and security information needed to send email verification codes only to the adult parent or guardian-controlled login email, maintain app sessions, and protect Player access.
- Your Player-linked contribution history and qualified fundraising activity needed to show the private app experience.
- Leaderboard visibility preferences and Team Admin privacy overrides.
- Limited device, diagnostic, or usage information when enabled and allowed by your consent choices.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate the adult parent or guardian for the Player experience, provide account, contribution-history, and fundraising features, maintain security, respond to support requests, and improve the app. A minor never receives a sign-in code or signs in directly.
The app does not provide public account creation. It opens the existing Team Florida website contribution form in the system browser and does not collect payment-card details inside the native app.
Sharing and sale
Team Florida and service providers acting on its behalf may process information only as needed to operate, secure, support, and maintain the Player App and connected Team services. Team Florida does not sell Player App personal information.
Retention and your choices
Information is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above and for legitimate security, accounting, transaction, dispute, or legal obligations. You may opt out of being named on the authenticated Player leaderboard without removing your dollars from team totals.
Hiding your name from the fundraising standings is one-way inside the Player App. Only a Team Admin or Player App support can restore your name after verifying your request.
An adult parent or guardian may ask a privacy question, correct the Player's information, or request access or deletion by emailing info@teamfloridasoftball.org. Account and data deletion requests are explained on the dedicated deletion page linked below.
